Titanium can't be resized once cast — but in a true emergency it can be cut off by a specialty jeweller. Best to nail the fit the first time. Three ways to check.
The details.
Koa against black is a better pairing than koa against polished metal, because the dark shell stops the grain competing with a reflection. The timber runs as a centre inlay with black titanium either side.
Each piece of koa is cut from different stock, so the figure varies ring to ring. The inlay is recessed below the rim, which shelters it from the contact a ring gets during the day. Eight millimetres wide with a comfort-fit interior. Keep it out of prolonged water to protect the timber. The titanium shell is covered by a lifetime structural warranty.
