Titanium can't be resized once cast — but in a true emergency it can be cut off by a specialty jeweller. Best to nail the fit the first time. Three ways to check.
The details.
This uses a darker cut of Hawaiian koa than the usual honey-toned stock, so the inlay runs closer to walnut with the grain figure showing through as lighter streaks. It sits as a wide centre channel with polished titanium rails on either side.
The metal takes the wear and the timber stays recessed and protected. Eight millimetres across with a comfort-fit interior. Titanium keeps a wide wood-inlay ring surprisingly light. Keep it out of extended water and it will hold its colour for years. A lifetime structural warranty covers the titanium shell.
