Silicone Rings for Tradies & Electricians

Flexible, non-metal silicone rings for hands-on work, tool belts and long shifts. Choose a profile that suits your hand, then follow your employer’s jewellery, PPE and electrical-isolation rules.

Why silicone

Choose the profile.
Respect the activity.

01

Non-metal silicone is a practical alternative to a rigid metal band on hands-on days.

02

Choose 8–9mm profiles for a substantial look, or a 6mm band for less bulk under gloves.

03

Keep a silicone work ring and a metal off-shift ring rather than asking one ring to do everything.

Important: A silicone ring is not electrical PPE and does not make live work safe. Remove all jewellery whenever your employer, SWMS, site rules or the task requires it.
Straight answers

Before you wear it.

Is a silicone ring safe for electrical work?

Silicone is non-metal, but a ring is not electrical PPE. Follow isolation procedures, PPE requirements and employer rules, and remove all jewellery where required.

Which width works best under gloves?

A 6mm profile generally feels less bulky, while 8–9mm styles give a wider look. Fit depends on your glove and hand, so check both together before starting work.

Can I use one as a wedding ring at work?

Many people use silicone as a work-day alternative and switch to a metal ring off shift. Workplace rules always come first.

One ring for the active day. Another for everything else.
